FDZ (Forenede Danske Zoneterapeuter), The Danish Reflexologists Association, was established in 1983. Members of the association are qualified FDZ authorised reflexologists, students and associate members. 

• FDZ is in a process of constant development and is working on passing on knowledge of reflexology to the public
• FDZ is continuously improving the education of reflexologists for the benefit of the patients
• FDZ offers continuing education to members of the association in order to ensure a high quality of work
• FDZ is engaged in securing a co-operation with the established health care system e.g. via the Ministry of Health, the National Board of Health, and the Private Health Insurance in Denmark.
• FDZ is an active participant in the international co-operation between reflexologists all over the world, for instance at congresses and research conferences
• FDZ is working on the introduction of company reflexology as an offer to companies all over Denmark
• FDZ’s regional groups offer mutual inspiration, opportunity to socialise with colleges, exchange of experience, lectures etc. to the reflexologist.

FDZ is a guarantee for quality
The Danish Reflexologists Association guarantees that the reflexology education is comprehensive and enabling FDZ reflexologists to manage treatment situations in a way that ensures the patient the correct treatment and advice.

The FDZ reflexologist is trained at one of the FDZ-approved schools in Denmark. The training takes 2 years with final exams in theory as well as a practical test in reflexology treatment.

In addition, FDZ provides courses and information activities to make sure that continuing education is offered to the therapist.

’Zoneterapeuten’ – is our journal
Ten times a year FDZ issues the journal "Zoneterapeuten" (The Reflexologist) which provides an open forum for knowledge and debate on reflexology and other related treatments. "Zoneterapeuten" examines current topics, development trends, and relations with the established health care system through articles, features and discussions.
