Reflexology as Staff Care
FDZ has established a programme of continuously promoting the benefits of Company Reflexology to private and public cooperations and firms, aiming to create more jobs for our therapists. Currently approximately 60 FDZ-reflexologists are employed under this scheme. In order to assist coming business reflexologists FDZ has published a file with guidelines for contract negotiations.
Several research projects have been carried out, showing the effects of reflexology as staff care and the savings to the employer.
Staff care - Contemporary staff care
To businesses it is of great importance to have good and qualified employees who can and will do a whole-hearted effort for the company and its customers. Time is up to think in wholeness.
It’s about professional skills, but it’s also about physical and mental wellbeing, about a working environment characterised by mutual confidence and respect, and where the individual feels that his or her contribution is valued. It’s about a good and active personnel policy.
Reflexology is a good and effective supplement to a modern personnel policy, a means for personnel care, which is already employed by many businesses - and with fine results.
Staff care - Reduced absence due to illness
All types of work - from office work to the hard physical work - stresses the body and easily gives small or more considerate disabilities.
Reflexology offered in personnel care has proven to result in increased well-being and reduced absence due to sickness. Many business managers have chosen this option and had this positive experience.
Satisfied employees and a good working environment is a good investment, and the advantages are measurable.
